Project Overview
Our team upgraded obsolete telecommunications infrastructure at numerous Cal State University campuses to meet new standards established by the system’s governing body. The new infrastructure enabled the campuses to implement state-of-the-art voice, data, and video applications.

Project Overview
We provided a telecommunications infrastructure master plan (TIMP), which we submitted to the Chancellor ’s Office and the state legislature. Our tech team compiled a comprehensive report on the status of the existing infrastructure, as well as recommendations for new or upgraded telecom rooms, pathways, and cable systems. This report also provided a cost analysis of the proposed infrastructure improvements with details for each building and each major pathway and cable system. The report provided the foundation for the telecommunications capital outlay project. We also provided documentation of the existing conditions of the underground conduit system, inter-building copper, fiber, and coaxial cable systems from the centralized Main Distribution Frame (MDF) building to all campus buildings and a survey of all telecommunications rooms, closets, and cabinets, pathway systems and cable systems in the buildings.
