    P2S performed a study to evaluate the conversion of the existing bookstore into a restaurant space and developed a report identifying the current conditions and necessary modifications required to the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to support the proposed renovation. The MEP feasibility study scope included evaluating the building's systems to understand the proposed renovation project's options, needs, and costs.

  • Solution

    P2S provided MEPT design for construction drawings and specifications and limited construction support for the project. The mechanical design involved modifying the existing penthouse air handler and HVAC controls. The electrical design involved power, lighting, and fire alarm system to the conference center as well as the kitchen space. The plumbing design involved utilized the existing infrastructure in the building. The existing domestic hot water heaters were used for the restrooms, and the existing domestic water lines were rerouted.
