Project Overview
The City of Lake Forest has completed their new, 102,000 SF, multi-purpose Civic Center. The Civic Center building will include four distinct buildings: a 21,000 SF, multi-purpose Community Center with spaces for conference rooms, events and a catering kitchen; a 17,500 SF Senior Center with computer training room, arts and crafts, wellness, and game room; a one-story, 13,600 SF City Council Chambers doubling as a Performing Arts Venue to maximize facility use and a two-story, 49,900 SF City Hall and Administrative Offices with space for a Community Policing Center.
Solution
Our team provided technology design and project implementation services for the project. The Civic Center will serve as a hub for the community and finally give the City a dedicated space for its City Hall and administrative functions. P2S is responsible for the analysis, planning, design and project management for the IT/Telecom Infrastructure, AV system and Physical Security System portions of the new buildings.
